• Error report 1-40U9X
In Version 407.0x, feeder position recognition occasionally lasted approx. 40 min.
This was caused by the illumination switching off too early. In the current version, the illumination is no
longer switched off during the feeder position recognition process.
• Error report 1-2BRH9
If the "cover" is opened during placement (Emergency Stop), the "Aborted" flag is set for the relevant
board, even if this board is not aborted and continues "completely" normally through to the end of
placement. Thus the number of boards was incorrect in the subsequent applications (e.g. OIS).
• Error report 1-37FMT
If a board is positioned in the input conveyor when the package form manipulator is started, it is possible
that the data for the statuses of the individual tracks will be inconsistent. This can lead to an empty track
error, even though no track is offered at the GUI for refilling.
• Error report 1-3EGF3
If a conveyor error also occurred after an Emergency Stop, the output conveyor of the relevant conveyor
was no longer released. Thus the board remained in the machine. The machine had to be restarted.
• Error report 1-57PK9 & error report 1-6IRKJ
During production, the machine comes to a standstill when the PCB barcode has been read, with the
message " Waiting for PCB release". The machine then has to be restarted.
The problem was caused by simultaneous attempts to access the memory by two processes in the
machine controller.
The accesses have been locked against each other to prevent this problem from occurring again.

The error message for a defective component table communication unit was misleading. Information on
the location affected was missing. This information is now output.
• Error report 1-3EP4X
Solution adopted from Version 503. When an incorrect component barcode is scanned, the relevant
track is deactivated. The machine can no longer pick up components from this track.
• Error report 1-4THLP
When a job with high components has been placed, error 525 "WPC: No tray available" appears the
next time a job is specified. This error message appears during the WPC reference run. The error was
caused by incorrect error handling. This has been corrected.
• Error report 1-37UOH
When programs were specified with fiducials whose x offset was equal to zero, the data server crashed.
The data preparation function interpreted this zero incorrectly and terminated the procedure
prematurely.
A fiducial still must not have the name "0".
• Error report 2QQ-1P9
The machine came to a standstill after long periods of operation with an operating system error. This
was caused by a problem with the station software releasing Windows-internal system resources.

In Version 407.02, the directory "C:\SRDaten\Target" fills up completely on the station computer during
long uninterrupted operation of the SIPLACE machines. The problem only occurs in conjunction with the
PCB barcode and very small recipe sizes. When the SIPLACE machines are started, all temporary files
in this directory are now deleted.

When Version 407.03 is installed, it checks whether OIS has already been installed. If this is the case,
no change is made in the Registry. Otherwise, the value required for the software is generated in the
Registry.
6.7 Errors Corrected in the 407.02 Software Service Pack 1

In the menu for teaching synthetic fiducials, it is not possible to move to a fiducial by clicking with the
mouse in the submenu "Teach synthetic fiducial" – "Gantry positioning". The error message "Target
position outside travel range" appears.
• Error report 1-4BXFD
The table for individual illumination settings can no longer be used for teaching package forms with
station software Version 407.02. The illumination values are displayed inverted when the dialog box is
exited.
6.8 Errors Corrected in the 407.02a Software
• The patch provides more reliable detection of calibration tool fiducials (fiducial 252). However, it doubles
the time taken to measure each individual calibration fiducial. It does not increase the time taken to
measure other fiducials and ink spots.
6.9 Errors Corrected in the 407.02 Software
• For feeder position recognition and set-up checking with barcodes, the settings (active/inactive) are
stored in the registry. Consequently, these options do not have to be set again every time the SIPLACE
machines are switched on.
• The accuracy of time recording for the OIS has been improved. For all information to the OIS the time is
given to an accuracy of 1/1000 second. This allows messages that occur within the same second to be
displayed better.

• At installation of the SIPLACE F5HM, the integrated C&P head can be selected. Consequently, when the
machine is restarted, no error occurs during data preparation.
• The set-up positions of the machines have been moved by 70 mm. This permits free access to the
nozzle changers.
• The configuration of ceramic substrate centering for the "Multicolor" PCB camera in the SIPLACE F5HM
has been changed. It is no longer possible to select oblique illumination.
• The "Stop processing PCB" button no longer has to be used in fine calibration during the placement
process. The printed circuit board remains on the center conveyor automatically.

Dip fluxing is possible with the IC head on the SIPLACE F

and the SIPLACE F5HM with the 12-nozzle
C&P head as of version 407.02.
Note: If components are set up that can be placed with either the 12-nozzle C&P head or the IC head, it
can happen that they are placed by the C&P head. These are then without additional solder paste. Dip
fluxing is still not supported for the 12-nozzle C&P head.

Following the installation of the station software, the A0110401.hex file (axis firmware version 4.001) is
located on the machine's station computer.
It can be copied to floppy disk from the "C:\SRProgramme\AchsFW\" directory.
1-3DP3M:
SIPLACE Pro interface: If a job was specified again with automatic width adjustment activated after
component package forms were taught, the conveyor width was measured again.
This is not necessary at this point, however, and is now no longer done.
1-3DYCT:
SIPLACE Pro interface: If a job was specified again after component package forms were taught, the job
for conveyor 1 was missing. This has been changed.
1-3CGHX:
SIPLACE Pro interface: If a job was specified again after the execution of the package form manipulator,
the preceding job was then processed rather than this job. The correct job is now processed.

General problem when picking up heavy components in conjunction with 72x nozzles. The parameters in
the "Kraft.ma" file are modified for the 12-nozzle C&P heads of the SIPLACE S20 and SIPLACE F

This ensures that heavy components are also picked up and placed reliably.

When the PCB reference corners were taught, the C&P head position was displayed on the GUI rather
than the PCB camera position. The PCB reference corner position is now displayed correctly in SITEST.
