6.11 Errors Corrected in Software 407.01 Servicepack 1
• Error report 123755
Sporadic message (actionline) "Switch on compressed air":
This message appears as a result of modifications to the electric compressed air valve.
The software has been corrected accordingly.
• Error report 123746
Diagnostics not installed (data similar to 406):
The data for version 407.01 is installed by the service pack.
• Adaptation of the BDELR process as a result of sporadic crashes. This has meant that the line computer
could not be supplied with data for MaDaMaS. A further effect of this was a slowing of all the production
processes on the affected machine.
• It is not possible to change language several times in SITEST tool in version 407.01. The cause of the
error has been eliminated. This means that the language can be changed in the usual manner.
• Using the pf-File (20_5.gf) for the calibrating-part to the calibrate the PCB camera from the version 502.
• The fine calibration for the 12-segment C&P head is carried out using ceramic pads.
6.12 Errors Corrected in Software 407.01
• Error message "2278 IC: interval open - closed vacuum value too low" when using gripper nozzles.
Up to now, a change had to be carried out at the line computer in order to use gripper nozzles
(modification to the ".kd" file on the line computer). As of version 407, the gripper nozzle has been
implemented correctly in the MC software and the modification to the ".kd" file must be reversed (this
has already been done if an update to the line computer software version 502.xx has been carried out).
• "2255 Axis error: Command DAIN, but bit set"
Corrected by modification to the axis driver.
• Error report – ID 1999.10/EA1E/0089 (205)
Width adjustment error no longer requires Start button to be pressed. Instead, it switches directly to set-
up mode. Here it is possible to correct the error in the conveyor controller or using SITEST. The
procedure is terminated with the "Continue processing" button
It is no longer possible for the station to "hang" after SITEST is run as it was in Version 406.01.
• Error report – ID 1999.11/EAEENG/0006 (140366)

• Error report – ID 1999.09/EA1E/0029 (122157)
A reference point which was changed in SITEST is not re-read from achs_ver.ma if SITEST is exited
without saving.
When SITEST is exited, the machine data is now read in again (restored) and activated in the axes. This
means that the machine works with the required values as stored in the machine data. To ensure that
the data is transferred to the axis correctly, an additional reference run is carried out when SITEST is
exited.
• Error report – ID 1999.08/EA1F/0076 ( 122124)
Error report – ID 1999.09/EAEENG/0006 (140331)
Error report – ID 1999.09/EA1F/0092 (122228)
A new TCP/IP library has been incorporated into the RMOS operating system and the MC application.
This ensures more stable communication within the machine.
• Error report – ID 1999.11/EA1V/0023 (122387)
In version 405.02, an incorrect error message is issued during the check of the nozzle changer
configuration for the second gantry when a new job is being defined for a SIPLACE 80S23. The
message indicates that the nozzle changer configuration for gantry 1 is incorrect, although this gantry
has just been corrected.
The correct error message is now issued.
• Error report – ID 1999.11/EA1V/0011 (122376)
As of Version 404, a new nozzle changer module was generated. The nozzle changer types were
redefined at this time. The type number for the 6-nozzle C&P head was changed from 3 to 6.
• Error report – ID 1999.10/EA1V/0017 (122249)
On a SIPLACE S23 under Version 405.02, if an X/Y special sequence was entered at the line computer,
the following error situation occurred:
• Component was removed from optical centering.
• The component should have been rejected during error correction.
• To do this, the gantry, however, incorrectly moves at maximum speed to the pick-up position of
the first feeder.
• If an new component is now to be picked up at the segment with the faulty component, the
machine now (correctly) moves to the reject bin at reduced speed.
Components to be rejected were previously not taken into account when calculating speeds and
acceleration. The calculation has been corrected.
• Error report – ID 1999.08/EA1F/0071 (122112)
Before the Teaching dialog box is displayed at the GUI, the second gantry moves to the wait position
after a prompt has been issued and the Start button has been pressed. The required position for the
PCB camera can then be taught.

• Error report – ID 1999.10/EA1V/0016 (122248)
If a PCB is being assembled and the operation is stopped with an EMERGENCY STOP function, and
then subsequently continued, the following error situation occurs:
• The PCB is moved to the output conveyor, where it remains.
• If processing of the PCB is then aborted, all the buttons on the GUI are deactivated.
PCB processing and the control of the GUI buttons was revised.
• Error report – ID 2000.03/EA1F/0016 (122844)
The texts were corrected.
