Press the button
Refill procedure is not enabled:
The component cover is opened.
If you press the button for longer than 2.5 seconds, the component cover will be automatically
closed.
Refill procedure is enabled:
No action
Release the button
Refill procedure is not enabled:
If you release the button within 2.5 seconds, the refill procedure will be enabled.
If you release the button after > 2.5 seconds, no action will occur.
Refill procedure is enabled:
The refill procedure will be stopped.
3.3.7 Error Messages
"Feeding rail missing"
If the machine tries to address a missing feeding rail, this will be signalized by a flashing light on the feed-
er button. The error text will be shown on the screen of the station computer. The machine will remain
in the pickup position. The Z axis will not move downwards.
Measure:
The setup is faulty and needs to be corrected.
After correcting the error, you need to acknowledge the error with the appropriate button.
"Level not reached" (components consumed or feeder blocked)
This error will be signalized by a flashing light on the feeder button.
Measure:
Check the feeder, clean the feeding rail and fill it up again with components, if required.
The error will be automatically deleted as soon as the component level reaches the light barrier again.

3.4 Maintenance
Maintenance work needs to be performed to the body and the feeder track of the bulkcase feeder. The
service intervals depend on the feeder operating environment (degree of contaminants).
You need to clean and grease the lifting magnet on the body.
You also need to clean the component duct on the feeder track.
3.4.1 Maintenance Intervals
The lifting magnet on the body needs to be cleaned and greased when the component cover no
longer opens properly.
The component duct on the feeder tracks needs to be cleaned when the components are no longer
fed through properly.
3.4.2 Consumables and Tools
Lint-free cloth
Alcohol
Topas Isoflex ® (Item No. 02102561-01)
3.4.3 Cleaning and Greasing the Lifting Magnet on the Body
Remove the feeder tracks from the body.
Lifting magnet cover
Remove the two screws (1) and then the lifting magnet cover (2).
Under the cover you will find the lifting magnet with the lifting magnet.

Lifting magnet
Clean both lifting magnet to remove any components.
Grease both lifting magnet with a little Topas Isoflex ®. Only apply a very small amount of grease to
the areas shaded in the diagram.
Now fit the lifting magnet cover.

2 Contact surface of lifting magnet (no grease)
3 Damping material
CAUTION
Do not apply any grease to the contact surfaces of the lifting magnet. Clean the contact surfac-
es with a dry, lint-free cloth, if required.
