3.4.4 Cleaning the Component Duct on the Feeder Tracks
Component duct on the feeder track
Loosen the 8 screws fastening the holddown.
Remove the duct cover.
Loosen the screw fastening the component stop (3).
Remove the component stop.
Loosen the screw fastening the light barrier (2).
Pull the light barrier out until you can access the component duct.
Make sure that the cables and connections are not damaged.
Clean the entire length of the component duct with alcohol.
Make sure that you do remove any of the labels attached to it.
Now rub the cleaned component duct dry with a lint-free cloth.
Fit the component stop so that it is positioned at the end of the duct (5).
Fit the duct cover level with the funnel and position it against the holddown.
Fit the feeder tracks back on the body.

4.1 Function
The vibratory feeder is used for processing components in stick magazines.
The component stick magazines consist of profiles, which are available in the appropriate sizes for all
common components. When using a vibratory feeder, up to 3 tracks can be addressed by the placement
machine, depending on the size of the components.
The components are transported into the pickup position by a linear vibratory feeder.
