11-3-2 Format
(1) Insert MS-DOS in FDD.
(2) Simultaneously press Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
(3) After a moment screen will display message
Starting MS-DOS ....
indicating loading from FDD to system.
Next, system will ask for date and time. Press RETURN key 2 times.
A:> prompt will appear.
(4) Enter FDISK and press RETURN key.
Screen will display hard disk setup program.
Current hard disk : 1
Select one of the following
1. Create MS-DOS domain or logic MS-DOS drive.
2. Set active domain.
3. Cancel domain or logic MS-DOS drive.
4. Display domain report.
Select one: [1]
For this screen enter "1" and press RETURN.
(5) "Create MS-DOS domain or logic MS-DOS drive" menu will appear on the screen.
Current hard disk : 1
Select one of the following.
1. Create PWB MS-DOS domain
2. Create enlarged MS-DOS domain
3. Create logic MS-DOS drive within enlarged MS-DOS domain
Select one: [1]
For this screen enter "1" and press RETURN.

This will cause recognition by hard disk.
(7) Enter "A:>FORMAT C: /S" and press RETURN key.
In a moment HDD format operation will begin.
Once completed, press RETURN key to escape from FORMAT command.
(8) Enter "A:> C:" and press RETURN key.
If prompt "C:>" is displayed, HDD format has been properly carried out.
Afterwards install KE-750/760 into HDD. Refer to the separate instructions.
