2.8 Lubricating the ST3 Nozzle Clutch LM Blocks
Procedure
1. Remove the pin and nut from the lower rod end joint.
2. Connect the special nozzle and 1,000 mm hose to the grease gun.
3. Lubricate the upper LM block.
Insert the nozzle into the grease port on the top of the LM block and raise the
guide rail. Inject the grease with the nozzle held between the guide rail and

Use the same procedure to inject grease into the port on the bottom of the lower
LM block.
When finished, reconnect the rod end joint.
