Secondary Cache Size
The size of the secondary cache detected by the BIOS is displayed.
Shadow and Cache Options
Sets shadow and cache options for various memory areas.
This setting is only relevant for ISA adapters, as PCI adapters are always shadowed and cached.
The Cache option can only be activated if the Shadow option has been activated.
Shadow The relevant memory area (generally an option ROM in an ISA adapter)
is copied to DRAM for faster processing.
Cache The area is also cached.

DRAM Timing
Sets the DRAM timing.
The DRAM timing is set optimally by the BIOS and will generally not need to be changed.
I/O Recovery Times
Sets the I/O recovery times in ISA bus clocks for 8-bit I/O and 16-bit I/O
DRAM Error
Sets the DRAM error handling method in the BIOS for DIMMs with a parity bit.

Installation Manual, Station Software Version 408.01 Edition 03/2006
The chipset suppurts automatic detection and correction of DRAM bit errors using ECC as well as
normal parity handling. This setting is only effective if DIMMs with a parity bit are used.
None No error handling. Bit errors are not detected.

MultiMedia Enable:
This option activates "video palette snooping". This may be required if an ISA video adapter and a
PCI video overlay adapter are installed and incorrect colors are displayed.
PCI-Interrupt-Routing
For each PCI INT (= motherboard INT) an IRQ can now be defined in the setup fields.
Since the LAN card of the M54 is designed as a PCI card, PCI INT A is required.
In Setup, IRQ 7 is to be entered for PCI INT A. During start-up, the BIOS will then assign this IRQ to
the PCI card.
