POSITION 2: Press to display the "Press START" message which enables the
Proper value measurement jig attached to the Station 4 vision
processing station to move to Station 7.
CHECK : Press to display the "Press START" message which enables
measurements to be carried out for the parts camera resolution
(with standard field of view), tilt in the X and Y direction, and
rotational orientation.
RETURN : Press to return to page 531/000.
START Button
If [START] is pressed after pressing POSITION 2, the cam is rotated forward to
move the Proper data measurement jig at the Station 4 vision processing station to
Station 7.
If [START] is pressed after pressing CHECK, the parts camera resolution (with
standard field of view), tilt in the X and Y direction, and rotational orientation are
measured.
Note: The cam angle must be set between 170° and 340° before the Proper data
measurement jig is attached.
Do not attempt to measure the parts camera resolution, tilt in the X and Y
direction, or rotational orientation unless the Proper data measurement jig is at
Station 4.
The camera should be adjusted so that the rotational orientation is as close as
possible to 0° since this orientation has a direct effect on placing accuracy.
Note that the above values are machine Proper data settings and thus it is
necessary to transmit Proper data to the MCS 30 computer once Proper data
measurement is completed.
For details on Proper data measurements refer to the FCP IV-3 Maintenance
Manual.
