Objective 47: Converting Machine to Round Belt Option (Strip Handling)
The “strip” process uses a transport rail system that employs round belt.
The adapted TRP has a product specific compliant plate fitted that matches the feature on
the static surround. On the rear rail, a blanking plate is fitted in front of the snugger plate
mechanism. The tooling used is a single block.
Z-Lock is only used for printing individual substrate held in handler trays: when strips are
printed, most of the mechanism is removed.
