3 Calibration Functions
NOTE
The heads and gantries must be referenced prior to the performance of the calibration functions.
For a complete calibration of the machine, the test program offers the possibility to start all calibration func-
tions from the "Calibrate entire machine" setting box with the aid of the Calibrate machine... functions (see
section 3.2, Fig. 3.2.1).
However, it is also possible to start the calibration functions individually from the corresponding displays. The
functions for the placement station SIPLACE 80S-20 must be performed on both
gantries.
A complete description of the performance of the individual calibration functions is contained in the respective
sections of this chapter.
