3.1.2.1 Fitting the Sensors for the TwinHead on the Component Feed Device
CAUTION
Screws
Only use the plastic screws provided to fasten the sensor (DIN85-M3x6-PA [00305381-xx])!
Sensor for the TwinHead reject bin
► Remove the reject bin.
► Fix sensor S1 (1) to the bracket under the large com-
ponent reject bin (2) with the two plastic screws
M3x10 [00305381-xx].
► Replace the bin.
Sensor S2 in the park position for X series machines
► Fit the sensor S2 (1) in the park position on the nozzle
reject bin carrier.
► Screw the sensor plate [03006260-xx] (2) provided
into place, next to the sensor.
► Fix the installed cable to suitable points, so that it is
not at risk of damage.

3.1.2.2 Fitting the Sensors for the TwinHead with MTC for CAN Node Infrastructures
► Fit the connector X2*q of the "reject bin sensors for upgrade" [03079029-xx] cable between the con-
nectors for the CAN nodes [03035229-xx] and that for the standard sensors [03022078-xx]. (See
also the diagram "Overview of sensors for CPP") in section "3.1.1 Fitting Sensors for C&P20 and
CPP" [ ➙ 56])
► Using SW70x an additional adapter [03086762-xx] is required. Please also observe the diagrams in
section "3.1.2 Fitting the Sensors for the TwinHead" [ ➙ 61].
NOTICE
CAN nodes
► The CAN node option also requires a cutter.
► Machines with the CAN node infrastructure and an MTC at locations with a TwinHead must
use the "upgrade sensor cable reject bin" [03079030-xx].

1. X2*q cable for feed device X series: reject bin
[03053229-xx]
2. Cable X series/HF R2: reject bin [03022078-xx]
3. Cable: reject bin sensors for upgrade [03079029-xx]
4. Sensor cable
Sensor S2 in the park position for X series machines
► Take the short cable W2 from sensor S2 and fit it (1)
with the sensor plate [03006260-xx] (2) at the park
position of the component feed device.

► Take the long cable W1 from sensor S1 and guide the cable through the recesses on the machine
base to the location with the MTC.
► Remove the reject bin.
► Fix sensor S1 to the bracket under the large component reject bin with the two plastic screws M3x10.
► Replace the bin.
