SCENARIO:

 Your DLM sleeves did not pass their

verification test.

 You don’t want to take advantage of our one-to-

one exchange service.

 Your placement head is causing problems with

regard to accuracy.

 You suffer from inferior production quality caused

by missing or falsely placed components.

The SIPLACE offer:

Defective DLM sleeves may be shipped to a local

SIPLACE Service Center to have them inspected,

repaired and, if necessary, updated.

All local SIPLACE Service Centers are equipped

with special SIPLACE tools for testing and checking

DLM sleeves. If a sleeve is beyond repair, we will

let the customer know immediately.

This SIPLACE service improves efficiency and may

reduce replacement part costs.

 Complete disassembly of the DLM sleeve

 Cleaning and lubricating of the DLM sleeve

 Reassembly of the DLM sleeve

 Function test of the DLM sleeve

SERVICE PERFORMED

REFURBISHMENT

 Recut the vacuum plate thread

 Upgrade to sleeve version with ball catch

REPAIRS

 Replace the vacuum plate; upgrade to the latest version

 Replace worn or defective springs

 Replace worn or defective switching ring

 Replace the locking element

 Replace defective or scratched black films

 Replace missing balls

TESTS

 Meaure the spring and placement forces

 Test the functionality of the DLM sleeve

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

PREREQUISITES

 The DLM sleeve must be returned in its original packaging

 All DLM sleeves must be physically complete

RECOMMENDATIONS

 Verify the DLM sleeves with the DLM Sleeve Verification Tool before sending it in
