MSF
Midrange Stick Feeder
The MSF Mid-range Stick Feeder delivers
components to a pick position with a high degree of
accuracy and repeatability.
The feeder is designed to integrate easily with the
existing assembly equipment (or OFP Odd-form
Component Placer).
The components are originally stored in Sticks,
which are stacked in the feeder magazine. The
bottom Stick in the stack is singled out from the
rest of the stack.
A small pusher then enters the back of the bottom
Stick. It pushes the components out at the front
onto the feeder rail where they are lined up.
At the end of the feeder rail is the pick position
where the components are offered for further
processing.
