The Apogee 90 Microfocus X-ray Inspection System is an advanced at-line
NDT solution for the manual (MXI) and/or semi-automated Inspection (AXI)
of printed circuit boards, components, and assemblies.
The system is equipped with a powerful 90kV,
sealed, microfocus X-ray tube that can achieve a
spot size as small as 4µm. With an oblique angle
inspection of up to 65°, state-of-the-art 5” HD Digital
Flat Panel Detector with 85µm resolution, and 6-axis
motorized motion control system. The result of
this conguration is a reliable inspection method
for engineers and
operators to capture
the highest clarity 2D &
2.5D x-ray images for
defect detection, failure
analysis, and NDT in
production environments
- even at the micro-scale.
Powerful and versatile
Vi3 Software creates
efciency in almost any inspection task done on
the Apogee 90, from quick spot checking of random
samples to creating effortlessly automated inspection
routines via a simple import of CAD/Gerber data. With
minimal training required, operators can intuitively
navigate the GUI on a 24” digital display with simple
point, click, and drag motions and utilize valuable
tools for basic inspection and enhanced analysis of
BGAs, QFNs, and more.
VJ Electronix x-ray and rework systems are
