1. Product improvement
Following requests from a number of customers, a new grease gun with cartridge is now available for
the gantry axes (X and Y axes).
Furthermore, a solution was sought to allow funnel-type greasing nipples to be used to enable more
reliable greasing of the guide carriages.
At the “Service Box X/SX” [03079042-xx] the previous "Grease gun with hose, Y axis HF"
[00374563Sxx] and "Grease gun with nozzle, X axis HF" [00374564Sxx] will be replaced by a new
"One-handed grease gun cpl.f.400ml cartr." [03123777-xx]. From beginning of August 2015 new
deliveries of the Service Box will include the new One-handed grease gun.
The One-handed grease gun will be delivered with all the accessories required. This means that the
grease gun is suitable for both ball-type and funnel-type grease nipples and for the different quantities of
grease required.
The "Klueber BEM 34-132 grease, 1 kg can" [00374565-xx] will still be available for the old grease
guns.
The "lubrication grease BEM 34-132,400g cart." [03121952-xx] will be available for the new grease
guns.
It is recommended that the "O-ring 4*1 P583 70 A" [00309454-xx] is additionally ordered for the
greasing nozzles.
