Magnetic Motion System
The compact MMS embodies the concept of progressive automation. Instead
of settling for a one-size-fits-all solution, you can scale and configure the
system as needed. Additionally, it’s designed to be customizable depending on
the product and required processes.
The requirements of modern production are dynamic. In this ever-changing
environment, IPTE is at the forefront of innovation with its proven Magnetic
Motion System (MMS).
The MMS sets new standards in terms of speed and accuracy. At a
breathtaking speed of 1.2 m/s, the system moves carriers without
compromising precision. This balance between speed and accuracy ensures
that production steps are carried out promptly yet error-free.
Beyond its speed and flexibility, the MMS impresses with its ability to work
without magnetic interference. This patented technology enables smooth
integration into any production environment, with no risk for electronic
assemblies like ADAS applications for example.
The magnetic ball screw drive propels the carrier using powerful magnets.
Resulting in fast, smooth and maintenance-free transport. Carrier acceleration,
speed and position are controlled by the IPTE software. Carriers can be driven
forward and backward, for special custom process applications like potting,
which drastically reduces the cost of the integration. Since carriers aren’t in
contact with a belt or other, damage from oily, dirty environments and even
metal particles, is avoided.
