Solution Approach /
Concept:
Inaccuracy issues during manufacturing of very big
PCBs appear as random print offsets, which are
stretched across the overall substrate. EKRA has
developed an innovative solution to minimize this
effect and achieve higher accuracy by printing such
PCBs in segments.
The concept suggests a way for the printing
process to be performed in a cyclic index-manner
operation. The size and layout of the segemnts
can be different. Segment 2 must be longer than
segment 1, 3.

PCB (i.e. PCB 2) will get in the machine until
segment 3 is oriented in the printing position. This
process is necessary to be performed, in order
to “take back” the solder paste, which after

tion of layout 3.
