Overview. The Barcode Reader is designed for applications
where multiple versions of a similar printed circuit board or
variations of component mix are processed in mixed lots. The
Barcode Reader provides assurance the machine is running the
correct program matching a particular printed circuit board.
If the program does not match the board the system will au-
tomatically call up the correct program to match the barcode
information.
The functionality of the Barcode Reader is controlled by
separate software which communicates with the SWAK-OS
4.0 programming and editing software.

with closed-loop process controls contained in Nordson

Barcode Reader Examples
Barcodes are particularly useful in applications where multiple versions of circuit boards
or similar circuit boards with variations of component mix are processed in batches.
These groupings frequently contain numerous printed circuit boards with distinct
components in a variety of unique patterns. The Nordson SELECT Barcode Reader
scans each board, identifies and matches the board with its corresponding program
assuring each board is processed with the correct solder program.
