2. Summary
2.1
Summary
The Fiducial All Recognition is the function that Mount Action starts after the continuous
recognition of fiducial marks (Board, Block, and Local) except for Point Fiducial. The function
was improved in recognition time.
The function enables to execute the mark recognition in efficient order when executing the
recognition of Local Fiducial marks obtained by Block Distribute. But the pair of fiducial marks in
the same block was recognized continuously as shown in Fig2.1 Left before improvement.
The pair of fiducial marks was enabled to be recognized in separate timing as shown in Fig2.1
Right. This shortened recognition time substantially and contributes to the productivity
enhancement of the board (especially for the board which contains many blocks).

3. Specification
3.1
The Recognition Order Decision of Fiducial Marks
The fiducial marks which are the target of Fiducial All Recognition are followings. Point Fiducial
is not the target of Fiducial All Recognition.
Board Fiducial
Block Fiducial
2Point Local Fiducial
4Point Local Fiducial
In above, only 2Point Local Fiducial can be recognized efficiently by automatic determination
of the recognition order. The order is determined when the board data is loaded, and it is not
saved in the board data.
The order of 2Point Local Fiducial is determined as followings.
The mark which is recognized at 1
st
is the mark
which is in front of the left hand In view of in front of the machine.
The mark which is recognized at 2
nd
is the mark
which needs the shortest time to move from 1
st
fiducial mark.
The mark which is recognized at (N)
th
is the mark
which needs the shortest time to move from (N – 1)
th
fiducial mark.
In the case of the machine layout which has 2 fiducial cameras in 1 head and can use Base
MACS, the both fiducial cameras can be used for recognition of fiducial marks. In that case, the
axis move time with each fiducial camera is estimated individually, and the mark which needs
shortest time is determined as the next mark.
