This chapter describes the abbreviations used in this guide, as well as the indicators of a SIPLACE
machine and the system components of a SIPLACE line. 2

A station may exist as part of a line or may be the only machine in a line. 2
Every station is equipped with a station computer: 2
– which is mounted over the output conveyor on a support (SIPLACE S23 and F5 HM)
– which is located in the machine frame (SIPLACE CS and CF).
A monitor and a keyboard with an integrated trackball and mouse buttons are mounted above the
cover on a pivot arm (see Fig. 2.2 - 1). 2
NOTE
You can operate the station computer software either via the keyboard or via the trackball. 2
