75 mm
wave nozzle
Features and Benefits
Provides a wide continuous application of molten solder with
up to 6 mm of free-standing depth for long component leads
Nitrogen inserted nozzle is programmable to solder
left-to-right or right-to-left and can solder around circuit
board obstacles
Process parameters including travel speed, soak time and
solder temperature are fully controllable for individual circuit
boards
Total wave soldering
process control
Overview. The 75 mm Wave Solder Nozzle and Pump as-
sembly provides an economical solution for updating legacy
tin-lead wave soldering applications to lead-free while elimi-
nating the potential cost of purchasing an entirely new wave
soldering machine.
The 75 mm wide wave nozzle is software controlled and can
emulate the functionality of a traditional wave soldering pro-
cess. The solder nozzle follows predetermined paths to avoids
areas that do not require soldering and eliminating masking.
75 mm wave solder nozzle and pump assembly
Available for tin-lead or lead-free solder alloys with lead-free
solder pot constructed of titanium for resistance to corrosive
alloys
Interchangeable with single nozzle and dual solder nozzle pot
and pump assemblies
Integrated Solution. The 75 mm Wave Solder Nozzle and
Pump assembly fully integrates with closed-loop process
controls embedded in Nordson SELECT’s SWAK-OS 4.0
software providing seamless operation for your selective
soldering process. Nordson SELECT’s closed-loop process
controls enable successful results for a full range of soldering
applications and ensures stable and repeatable results for high-
yield production.
Experience. With over a decade of selective soldering experi-
ence and more than a thousand systems currently in produc-
tion, Nordson SELECT is committed to providing innovative
solutions for all selective soldering needs. Our global support
network, including state-of-the-art application development
labs, provides customers with world-class know-how and
application expertise.
