1. Outline
This function reduces the XYR axis speed (acceleration and deceleration) to move to the
position for a dumping action, and prevent from dropping the unstable picked parts onto the
board.
2. Overview
This function slows down the axis (XYR) movement to dump parts, with setting [Down
speed (%)] in machine setting.
When the parts dump action with pick up error or alignment error is executed, the axis
(XYR) movement is slowed.
With the acceleration and deceleration of the axis reduced, the inertia force to the picked
parts becomes lesser.
Dump Action Slowdown is effective with all dump actions ( auto-running, reset operation,
and manual operation ).
a) No slowdown of the axis (high speed) b) Slowdown of the axis (low speed)

2.1. Slow speed setting
To slow the dumping action, set [Down speed (%)] to other than “Standard”.
[Conditions]
[Machine] - [Mechanical] - [Position] - [Down speed(%)]：
standard -> No slowdown
[Machine] - [Mechanical] - [Position] - [Down speed(%)]：
standard -10,..,-90 -> Slowdown
* “-10” means Down speed 10%
2.2. Speed
When the parts are dumped during auto-running, the following setup and conditions
determine the axis (XYR) movement speed.

* Standard Speed means lower one of the following speed.
- Speed: [Setup] - [Speed (%)]
- XY speed: [Parts] - [Pick or Mount] - [XY Speed (%)] of the slowest parts of the pick
group.

3. Setting
The setting method to use this function is as follows.

(The default value is [standard]. It can be set up to [ standard
-10%,.., standard -90%].)
In the case of [standard], it isn’t effective the parts dump action
slowdown.
Example: In the case of [Standard -60], if [Speed] is 100% and [XY
speed] is 100%, the axis speed is down to 40%.
*After setting, please be sure to reload the data board. The settings are reflected in the data
when reloading the board.
