1 Instruction sheet for differentiation
of magnet tracks Y axis
SIPLACE HF-series / X-series / D3
There are two different types of magnet tracks installed for the Y axis of HF, HF/3, X and D3 ma-
chines.
These must never be installed mixed together in a
placement area. 1
If one of these magnet tracks is replaced with a new one then one must check which
type it is in
order to be in a position to order the correct item number as a spare part. 1
The magnet tracks can be clearly differentiated between
on the basis of the stickers shown in the
following pictures. 1
The stickers are located, seen from the front, at the lower lef
t corner or below in the middle of the
magnet track. The cover plate must be raised beforehand to see this in the installed condition and
then the blue plastic cover removed. This is usually possible without using a tool. 1

The fact that there are various types of sticker existing with a different overprint means that one
must determine which item number must be ordered in each case based on the following table
associated with the pictures. 1

manufacturer on it.
