1 Introduction
1.1 Purpose
This document leads the user through whole installation process concerning SIPLACE software systems.
Product specific information concerning the installation and environment settings are described in the related
version description of the products.
1.2 Scope
Following list contains all affected SIPLACE software systems:
- SIPLACE Pro
- OIS/SIS
- EDM
- SIPLACE Explorer
1.3 Terms
1.3.1 Server
Computer system hosting business services and database, e.g. SIPLACE Pro Server.
1.3.2 Client
Computer system connected directly to server and consuming server hosted business services.
1.3.3 Siemens Hardware
Computer system sold and specified by Siemens A&D EA as line servers:
- Fujitsu-Siemens Econel 30,40,50,100
