1 Introduction
This document describes the SIPLACE Feeder Manager Version 3.3 (R18-1) software.
The Release-Tag displays in which ASM Release the current product has been released.

SIPLACE Feeder Manager is a program, developed to ease the feeder management process. It is
a Windows-based application that helps to:
Maximize feeder performance by:
Providing real-time feeder monitoring and feedback
Carrying out preventive / proactive feeder maintenance based on actual usage, repair actions
and performance statistics (condition-based maintenance) that adds real value
Providing an alert feature to avoid the use of the defective / overdue-for-maintenance feeders
Minimize feeder assets by:
Feeder tracking
Feeder inventory management (including reports)
Reduce costs and risk by paperless management of the feeders
The following features are supported:
Date-based and cycle-based maintenance plan
No integration required with other software solutions
Feeder location tracking and reports
Alerts on feeder status on scanner, FM Line Console and station computer
Reports on feeders that are due/overdue for maintenance

2 Scope of Delivery
● Software SIPLACE Feeder Manager 3.3 (R18-1)
All software belonging to R18-1 is available on the ASM Software Collection USB Medium
R18-1, item no. [00117883-xx]. This USB stick contains all packages of R18-1. Additionally, the
individual software packages (*.iso files) contain the relevant software documents (Installation
Manuals, Software Version Descriptions, User Guides etc.).

3 System Requirements
The following system requirements apply for Feeder Manager 3.3.
3.1 Supported Operating Systems and Database Variants
The system requirements (supported operation system and database variants) can be found in the

Products of Release R18-1.
NOTE
If Setup Center GUI is installed on the same computer, then the Feeder Manager’s online functions
depend also on the presence of OIB Setup Center Adapter in order to work.
In this case OIB Setup Center adapter must be installed.
3.3 Release Compatibility
SIPLACE Feeder Manager 3.3 is R18-1 compatible.
