2.3 Requirements for fault-free operation
The components must conform to the specification. 2

If the components are outside the tolerance, this will increase the number of feeder faults. 2
For fault-free operation, the components should be demagnetized. 2
A cycle time of 500 ms should be set and nozzle 902 assigned in SIPLACE Pro. 2
2
On the end faces, burring within the circular areas of
Ø 0.35 is permitted.

2.2 Possible faults and how to eliminate them
2.2.1 "Track empty" error
Possible causes: 2
– Components have jammed in the feeding rails
=> Loosen cover over the feeding rails at the 2 screws and remove components. Replace the
cover. From the station, select "Continuous vibration“ to refill the track.
– There are too few components in the component container => Top up components.
– The pick-up position was not taught and the nozzle cannot pick up the component => Teach
pick-up position for both tracks.
– The component at the pick-up position does not conform to the specification, so it cannot be
picked up => Carefully remove the component from the pick-up position using tweezers.
2.2.2 Increased reject rate
Possible causes: 2
– The component is not seated centrally on the nozzle => Teach pick-up positions.
– The components do not conform to the specification.
