2. Functions
2.1. Outline of Functions
Present database is enable to regist data that the parts name or comment are duplicate.
Therefore, when [Database Matching] or [Database Matching by Shape Name] which
are matching data with the parts name is executed, the specification which is “the first
data of duplicate from record No.1001 is matched” is adopted. But the existing of
dupliacte parts name or comment bring mistake of editing or the cause of unintended
matching.
This functions is:
Protect to do the matching operation with duplicate data.
Protect to mis-edit on data that is not target of matching.
Protect to create new duplicate data.
For above the reason, duplicate data checking function for the parts database is provided.

2.2. Settings
P-Tool: When “Parts database duplicate check” function is used, Check [Option Setting] –
[Database] – [Database Duplicate Check] checkbox.

Enable to check duplicate of Parts
Database
Duplicate check of the parts database is done.
Check Key It indicates the Check key during duplicate check
of the parts database. It is automatically decided
from [Database Matching Condition]
Check Key: Name As the key, Duplicate check of the parts database
is done with the parts name of the parts data.
Name.
Check Key: Comment As the key, Duplicate check of the parts database

Check Key: Name&Comment As the key, Duplicate check of the parts database
is done with the parts name & comment of the
parts data.
Machine: When “Parts database duplicate check” function is used, Check [Setup] – [Database]
– [Parts Database Duplicate Check] combo box. Definitely select check key same as
P-Tool.
Choices Meaning
Disable Duplicate check of the parts database is not done.
Check Key Same meanings with P-Tool option setting.
