2. Summary
“Vacuum check before dump” is a function to check whether disposal parts fall from
heads by comparing vacuum level before and after movement to discard point. When
machine judged parts have fallen, an error message is displayed to instruct operators to
confirm whether parts fall on a board.
“Vacuum check before dump” is executed at the following dump timings.
“Vacuum check before dump” is not executed at the time of “Quick Dump” during
auto-running.
1. During Auto-running
・ At the time of dumping to “discard point” (dump box)
・ At the time of dumping to “dump station”
・ At the time of dumping to “recovery pallet”
・ At the time of “special dump back” (back to the tray)
・ At the time of dumping after side view camera bring back error
2. When reset
・ At the time of dumping to “discard point” (dump box)
・ At the time of dumping to “dump station”
・ At the time of dumping to “recovery pallet”
・ At the time of “special dump back” (back to the tray)
3. When “dump” button is tapped in “Parts Adjust” screen
・ At the time of dumping to “discard point” (dump box)
・ At the time of dumping to “dump station”
3. Details
3.1 “Vacuum check before dump” during auto-running
When parts dumped during auto-running, “Vacuum check before dump” procedure is as
follows.
(1) Record vacuum level of pickup head before pickup parts. (Recorded per nozzle in the
first time after switching board)
(2) Record vacuum level of pickup head after recognition parts. However, when [Parts] -
[Mount] - [Pick&Mount Vacuum Check] is set to ”SPECIAL CHK” and vacuum level is
judged abnormal, vacuum level of pickup head is recorded at the time of the judgment
because parts are dumped without recognizing them.
(3) After moving to discard point (dump box, dump station, pallet), compare vacuum level
of dumping head and vacuum level recorded in (1) and (2).
(4) When those vacuum levels have difference, machine determines that parts fell and
displays ”Ea3269: Parts Dump Vacuum Check Error” and stops.
(5) When restart auto-running, continue production after parts are dumped.
