5.3 SIPLACE Explorer Client
5.3.1 Hardware
We recommend using an Econel 100. If your system uses other hardware, this hardware must meet the
following requirements:
• 3.2 GHz processor
• 2 GB RAM
• 160 GB available hard drive capacity
• DVD ROM drive
Systems using low performance hardware may only deliver reduced process performance.
5.3.2 Software

The following versions are supported but if problems should occur, you will need to update the versions to

SIPLACE Explorer V2.7 supports data from the following station software versions:

The following version is supported but if problems should occur, you will need to update to the version
shown above.
• SW 503.04 SP 2, this version is only suitable if hardware restrictions do not permit an upgrade to
SW 505.xx.
5.5 Interfaces
SIPLACE Explorer does not provide any interfaces. However, a connection to OIS and SIS does exist, as
SIPLACE Explorer receives all required data from the OIS and SIS via so-called database views. For
further information about OIS and SIS database views, please see the following descriptions:
