4.2 Cleaning the cameras SST23 / SST41 / SST23G / SST41G / SST48G / SST49G (C&P20x head)
On the cameras for C&P20x heads, you can remove the illumination unit to clean the cover glass.
Release the 4 screws securing the
illumination unit to the camera.
Remove the illumination unit from the
connector on the board (orange
arrow) by first pulling it straight up
from the board and then twisting it
upwards (blue arrows).

The cover glass can now be cleaned with the tools listed above.
4.3 Cleaning the cameras SST30 /SST30G / SST29 / SST28 / SST38 (C&P12-/CPP head)
It is not possible to remove the illumination unit on the SST30/29/28/38 cameras.
The aperture (view window) is, however, large enough to allow the mirror to be accessed with the
cleaning tools.
Clean the cover
glass.
Clean the surface of the
mirror.
To clean the second
mirror, the cover can
be removed by
releasing the 4 screws.

To clean the small deflection mirror on the inside, turn the camera so that it is standing on the
illumination unit.
NOTE
Second deflection mirror
The mirror is glued to the side walls.
Make sure that you do not apply excessive pressure when cleaning the mirrors.
Clean the inner side of
the second deflection
mirror from this side.
