1.1.1 OIS functionality
The OIS server records the operating data in a relational database and conveys this data to the
OIS client. The OIS client provides a graphical user interface to display this data.
1.1.2 SIS functionality
SIS records recipe and setup specific data received from SIPLACE Pro via the SpiXML adapter in
a relational database.

3 Interfaces for OIS client
NOTICE
As of SIPLACE OIS version 12, OIS can only be installed on computers on which
Windows 7 is running. Machines with Windows XP still require the 11.x v
ersion. The 12.x
OIS server is completely compatible with the 11.x clients. The current 11.2 SP1 version
is included in the OIS package.
