The “peel-off” characteristics of the Kurtz Ersa mini wave soldering nozzles enables an optimal formation of the
solder joint even when soldering in the horizontal level and minimizes the risk of solder bridges. Since there is no
preferred direction for the solder flow, the soldering wave can be moved in all directions.
Thanks to their modular design, Kurtz Ersa selective
soldering systems can be optimally configured to
meet individual requirements. A wide range of highly
efficient standard modules are available for this
purpose.

VERSAFLOW FIVE
The VERSAFLOW FIVE is the latest innovation in ultra-high-end
selective soldering. Thanks to VERSAFLEX 2.0 and automatic
nozzle changer it sets new standards in automation and flexibility
in electronics manufacturing. It was developed for demanding
applications such as those in the automotive industry, medical
technology, aerospace, etc., and guarantees optimal production
processes with maximum efficiency.

The models in the VERSAFLOW 4 series impress not only
with their flexible modular concept and further increased
process flexibility, but also with the award-winning
ERSASOFT 5 user interface. This generation of machines
also includes the VERSAFLOW 4 XL for soldering XL-format
circuit boards. Thanks to modules such as VERSAFLUX and
VERSAFLEX, these systems offer revolutionary flexibility at
the highest level of soldering.
VERSAFLOW 3
In order to meet all requirements in terms of flexibility,
VERSAFLOW 3/45 MULTIWAVE and VERSAFLOW 3/66 XL can
variably be supplemented with additional flux, heating, and sol
-
dering modules. To maximize throughput, dual-track conveyors,
module segmentation, and various pot concepts are available.
PCB formats range from 508 x 406 mm to 3000 x 610 mm.
VERSAFLOW ONE
The VERSAFLOW ONE is the entry into the
Kurtz Ersa world with all the know-how of
the market leader in selective soldering. It is
available as an F-Series with a single pot or as
an X-Series with a dual pot with X-variability
to maximize throughput. Up to 8 PCBs can be
processed simultaneously subject to machine
configuration – unique in the entry-level class!

PRESS-FIT TECHNOLOGY
The VERSAFIT 500 is an effective and highly
flexible inline system for electronic assembly
production in power electronics using press-
fit technology. The core of the system is
a servo-electric press cylinder that can be
precisely controlled and monitored in terms
of force and distance. The electronic
assemblies are positioned under the press
tool via an X/Y table, which also serves as
the conveyor system for the assemblies.
To meet demands for high flexibility, the
VERSAFIT 500 has a magazine for a wide
variety of press-fit tools. The VERSAFIT
500's control system and software ensure
complete process control of the press-fit
process.
The symbiosis of Kurtz Ersa's many years of
experience in soldering machine construc-
tion with the challenges of automated, inline
press-fit technology offers customers com-
pletely new possibilities in the design and
manufacture of electronic assemblies.
