5 Installation of SIPLACE Pro Language Pack
Before you install the Language Pack, please verify that SIPLACE Pro is installed. Be sure that
the installed version of SIPLACE Pro matches the version of the language pack. Check the
readme files on the language pack CD for related version information. Once you have verified this,
the language pack can be installed. For more details please refer to Section 5.2 Compatibility of
SIPLACE Pro Language Packs. 5
The SIPLACE Pro basic version is delivered with English and German. All additional languages
are delivered later on with a separate SIPLACE Pro Language Pack version. 5
Follow the instructions listed below precisely to install the language pack successfully. 5
5.1 Starting installation - first steps
Step 1
Æ Insert the Language Pack CD in the CD-Rom drive. The installation should start automatically.
Æ If not, go to Windows Explorer and double click on the setup.exe located in the root directory
of the installation CD.
This starts the user-controlled installation of SIPLACE Pro
The Language Pack Update Wizard is started and you are prompted by the following dialog box.5

Æ Select the language which is to be used during the installation.
Æ Click OK.
Note
This decision only relates to the language used during the installation routine! 5
The data is loaded and then you are presented with a welcome message. 5

Æ Click Next.
You are presented with a list of languages that will be available to be configured for use by
SIPLACE Pro from now on. 5

In the left column you see all languages included in the language pack and in the right column you
see all languages that have already been installed. 5
From the list of available languages in the "Select Languages" dialog, select the language(s) you
want to use with SIPLACE Pro. 5
Æ Mark the language you want to be installed and click it. The selected language moves to the
right column.

Æ Click Next.
You are prompted to the following dialog box. The "Ready to Install the Program" dialog box gives
you a last chance to alter the information you have entered during the previous steps. 5

Æ Click Install.
Æ If you want to alter one or more details, click the Back button until you get back to the dialog
box in question.
