Risk of injury when working near the tap e cutter
Undock the component trolleys and move them out of the machine.
Switch off the machine and secure it to prevent unauthorized reactivation. Observe the instructions
in section "1.2 Preparatory Work..." [ 12].
Fill the "grease gun with hose for Y axis" (volume applied approx. 0.4 g) [00374563-xx] with
Klüberplex BEM 34-132 (see also "6.1 Filling the Grease Gun" [ 77]).
WARNING
Risk of injury when working near the cutter.
When working in the area of the tape cutter, move the component trolley out of the machine
and disconnect the machine from the mains supply and the compressed air supply.
Wait until the operating pressure has dropped to 0 MPa.
Always secure the machine against unauthorized reactivation.
Do not reach into the tape cutter.
Place the hose of the grease gun straight onto the lu-
brication nipple.
NOTICE!
If the lubrication nipple no longer lets lubricant through or
if it is damaged, replace it (DIN71412-A-M6 [03036936-
xx]).
Press grease into the tape cutter until it visibly pro-
trudes out again.
Remove excess grease with a brush.
Repeat these steps for the other side of the tape cut-
ter.
Repeat these steps for each tape cutter.

Dismantle the waste slide. Read the service manual for your machine first.
Install the waste slide. Also observe the following instructions:

WARNING
Risk of injury when working near the cutter.
When working in the area of the tape cutter, move the component trolley out of the machine
and disconnect the machine from the mains supply and the compressed air supply.
Wait until the operating pressure has dropped to 0 MPa.
Always secure the machine against unauthorized reactivation.
Do not reach into the tape cutter.
Spray a bit of Interflon Fin grease [03020782-xx] into
a suitable container.
Distribute the grease with a brush to the underside of
the fixed blade (1) as shown in the figure.
Use a lint-free cloth to remove any excess grease
from the contact surfaces of the cutting blades (2)
and the grease nipple (3).
Manual tables only:
WARNING!
WARNING! There is a risk of injury on manual
tables without the two protections.
Fit the two protections.
CAUTION!
Make sure that the plastic strips (1) (if present) are locat-
ed behind the plate (2) when you hook up the used tape
chute.
The black-yellow hatched label must be completely visi-
ble.

NOTICE
Grease the engaging pins
If the component trolley is frequently undocked, we recommend that you grease the engaging
pins.
Grease the engaging pin (1) with a SIPLACE
cleaning tissue.
Grease the hooks (2) on the left and right of the com-
ponent docking unit with a SIPLACE cleaning tissue.
Repeat these tasks at all locations.
Grease the rollers (1) (2 per side) on the changeover
table with a SIPLACE cleaning tissue.
Repeat these tasks at all component trolleys.
