The glass printhead cover is replaced with an aluminium cover with a conduc-
tive Perspex window, fitted with a conductive seal.

Rear Panel Labels The rear cover has five labels (one is a general safety label and not detailed
here), which are used to inform users of machine safety, delivery status and
environmental condition.
Fifth Leg This label warns the user to retract the fifth leg after the machine has been
levelled.
Environmental -
Substance Release
This label complies with RoHS (China) legislation. It indicates that hazardous
substances, present in the machine, are not released for at least an industry
agreed time period. The number (15) within the symbol indicates the number
of years before the substance may be released.
In the DEK printer, the items listed in the RoHS certificates SJ/T11363-2006
supplied with the machine, contain lead.
Machine Conformity This label indicates the technical bodies that have given quality assurance
approval. The label also gives the following information:
• ASM Contact Address
• Machine Type
• Machine Serial Number
• Machine Sales Order Number
• Model Designation
• Year of Manufacture
The following technical information is used to specify the electrical and pneu-
matic supplies to the printer.
• Voltage Setting
• Full Load Current Rating
• Operational Frequency

Next Service Due This label is filled in by the engineer at installation to show when the next service
is due. On subsequent service visits the engineer replaces the label.
