1Introduction
This service manual describes the installation and removal of the trailing cable unit for Siplace HF and
X series machines in their various models.
The manual sometimes uses diagrams of the SIPLACE HF machine. However, this does not necessarily
mean that installation or removal differs from this for the X-series machines. If there are any significant
differences between procedures for the two machine types, these will always be clearly shown with the
respective diagram.
1.1 SIPLACE HF Models
Trailing cable unit for HF machines up to series number A-219
There are three different trailing cable units available for SIPLACE HF machines. The version used
depends on the gantry arrangement in your machine.
Trailing cable unit for HF machines with one gantry
– 03009210-01 trailing cable analog 1P
Trailing cable unit for HF machines with two gantries at uneven locations (1 and 3)
– 03013642-03 trailing cable analog 2P U
Trailing cable unit for HF machines with two gantries at even locations (2 and 4)

Trailing cable unit for HF machines from series number A-220 onwards
There are three different trailing cable units available for SIPLACE HF machines. The version used de-

depends on the gantry arrangement in your machine.

NOTE: Backwards compatibility
These versions of the trailing cable unit can also be used for SIPLACE HF ma-
chines up to machine number A-219 in combination with the "retrofitting set for
trailing cable" 03046248-01. This set is included in the trailing cable spare parts
package.
