Tray changers may have towers (see Figure above - Matrix tray changer location definition), which
are numbered from left to right ascending beginning with 1, if looking from the side where the car-
rier is filled up. The levels of a carrier are numbered ascending, whereas the first level at the bot-
tom of the tower has level=1. The magazines (trays) on the carrier are numbered all the way
through, starting with the magazine which is closed to the zero point of the carrier. 3

Tray feeders without a tower (see Figure above Tray feeder location definition) are numbered like
these with a tower. The only difference is that the first carrier is identified by the corresponding
track and the magazines by the x, y offset from the zero point of the first carrier. 3
