2.6 Insert the inner protective film
: Place the PE film between the gantry cable and air hoses.
The film should protrude approximately 1 cm over the X cable and hose carrier mount.
In the X cable arc, the film should be roughly the same distance from both the gantry cables
and the air hoses.

2.7 Insert the outer protective film
: Wrap the outer protective film around the outside of the cable and hose carrier (over the ribbon
cables). The film is placed between the clamp on the placement head and the first clamp on
the gantry. The film should protrude approximately 2 cm beyond the clamps.
The film should lie loosely around the gantry cable in the X cable arc, and should not constrict
it at all.

2.8 Fix the cable and hose carrier
: Place the pressure plates on the clamps and check that they fit correctly. Inserting the film(s)
may cause the cable and hose carrier to be too high for the clamp. If this is the case, remove
one of the plastic shims and replace it with a thinner one or omit it altogether.
Check that the carrier is seated correctly once more. The cable and hose carrier must be
seated correctly without being squashed.
: Tightly screw the pressure plates onto the placement head and the gantry arm.
: Move the placement head on the gantry several times to ensure that the cable and hose carrier
is in the correct position.
2
: Remove the pieces of adhesive tape.
: Fit the compression springs (if they were originally fitted).
2
: Fit the interface cover.
