2.7 Installing the conversion board
: Connect any remaining cables on the old conveyor control and SLIO to the conversion board
for the relevant conveyor.
: Detach the old conveyor control.
: Detach and remove the SLIO module from the top hat rail.
: Clean around the components.
: Attach the drilling template and cover the area well.

: Mark the drilling positions with the prick punch.
: First drill pilot holes with a 2 mm diameter bit to prevent the holes running off center.
Then drill with a 3.4 mm bit (rather than 3.3 mm) to make the threads easier to cut.

IMPORTANT:
It is essential to use a thread cutter for blind holes as the material is very tenacious. 2

: Pull the connecting cables from the conveyor control to the conversion board through the cable
opening.
: Shorten the high cable duct in the middle in order to fit the covers to the conversion boards in
the conveyor.
: Reinstall all the parts the you removed or detached. The cables and compressed air hoses for
the tape cutter and NC gantry 1 must be fixed over the new conveyor control using new adhe-
sive tabs and cable ties.
2.6 Loading the conveyor software
: Use the instructions for the TSP200 retrofit kit for loading the software (item no.: 00192267-01).
