2.9 Retrofit the SIPLACE HS-50 / HS-60
2.9.1 Work at the location
: Dock the component trolley out of the placement machine.
: Shut down the placement system and switch it off.
: Remove the nozzle changer carrier at this location by loosening the 4 screws on the H profile.

On newer HS-60 models, the feeder cover flaps are fitted with a Schmersal switch that must be
opened first. 2

: Disconnect the nozzle changer from the power and air supplies and close the air connections.
: Pull the cables and air connection out of the machine and into the side part.
: Screw on the cover plate in place of the nozzle changer (4 screws M6 x 15 mm).

In the retrofit kit are two cover plates included. One is for location 2, the other one for location 4.
Choose the right one. 2

: Fit the small cover plate over the switch for the feeder cover flap. If necessary,
remove the contact of the Schmersal switch from the feeder cover and fit it on the retaining
bracket provided.
Plug the contact into the Schmersal switch and the retaining bracket using two screws
M4x5 mm.

: Dock the component trolley into the placement machine and screw it on firmly
