3. Entering Corrections
Note
The following sections describe entering corrections for the various machine types in the REAL.MA
file. You require an editor program and a boot diskette in order to edit the REAL.MA file. First make a
backup copy of the REAL.MA file!
3.1 Entering Corrections on the SIPLACE 80 S15
Please observe the following sequence when entering corrections:

The PCB camera offset must be altered in REAL.MA. The correction values are entered in the machine
data in
µ
m!
New Kamera_Offset _X = Old Kamera_Offset_X + Arithmetic mean
New Kamera_Offset _Y = Old Kamera_Offset_Y + Arithmetic mean
Example:
Arithmetic mean: x = -60
µ
m
Old camera offset X: -1780
µ
m
New camera offset X: -1780
µ
m + (-60
µ
m) = -1840
µ

Arithmetic mean: y = 50

Old camera offset Y: -79620

New camera offset Y: -79620
µ
m + 50
µ
m = -79570

The zero point correction must be altered in REAL.MA. The correction values are entered in the ma-
chine data in digit!
New Nullpunktkorrektur X = Old Nullpunktkorrektur X + Arithmetic mean
New Nullpunktkorrektur Y = Old Nullpunktkorrektur Y + Arithmetic mean
Example:
Arithmetic mean: x = -60
µ
m
Old zero point correction: x = -291235 digit
Conversion from
µ
m to digit: 50
µ
m / 2.5 = 20 digit (Conversion factor of the glass scale)
New zero point correction: x = -291235 digit + 20 digit = -291215 digit
Arithmetic mean: y = -75
µ
m
Old zero point correction: y = -616880 digit
Conversion from
µ
m to digit: -75
µ
m / 2.5 = -30 digit
New zero point correction: y = -616880 digit + (-30 digit) = -616910 digit
