Clean up the disk and make sure that there are no more program files. 6
Check the path Program Files\Siemens SIPLACE\SIPLACE Setup Center.
If you will find additional files, please delete them (except for the database files with extensions
.mdf and .ldf).
6.3 Uninstalling the Database
The database can be uninstalled with the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Manager. 6
Expand the node Microsoft SQL Servers
Expand the node SQL Server group
Expand the node of the database server instance on which the SIPLACE Setup Center data-
base was installed to.
Expand the node Microsoft SQL Servers
Expand the node Databases
Right click the node SIPLACESetupCenter and select Delete.
Confirm the deletion of the database.

Go back to the node of the database server instance.
Expand the node "Management"
Expand the node "SQL Server Agent"
Expand the node "Jobs"
Mark all entries starting with "SIPLACESetupCenter" and delete them.
Confirm the deletion of the maintenance jobs.
Go back to the node of the database server instance.
Expand the node Security
Expand the node Logins
Mark all entries starting with SIPLACESetupCenter and delete them.
Confirm the deletion of the logins.
The database is completely deleted now. 6
The ServerManager is an unsupported tool that is able to create, empty and delete the SIPLACE
Setup Center database. The password for the user 'sa' is required. 6

All data will be lost when erasing or dropping the database with the ServerManager. Use with cau-

6.3.1 Uninstalling MSDE Installation
Uninstall the MSDE instance used for Setup Center.
Remove the database files manually.
