4.8.1.4 Installing the RMOS
The following menu is displayed after the machine controller has booted from CD:
DO YOU WANT TO CONTINUE RMOS INSTALLATION ?
[C] CONTINUE [P] PREPARE HARDDISK
[R] REBOOT SYSTEM
[T] TERMINATE BATCH PROCESS (Change to DOS)
PRESS KEY TO CONTINUE [C,R,T,P]?
Enter 'P' to create the partitions on the hard disk. The system is then booted.
When the menu shown above appears again, press 'C' (Continue) to actually install the RMOS.
The basic RMOS installation is now complete. The station software can be installed.
Caution:
After the RMOS has been installed, the USB interface on the machine controller
must be
deactivated, since an activated USB interface can lead to sporadic significant errors which are
difficult to localize.
