Check procedure:
Rotating torque: 0.023 N.m {0.23 kgf.cm} or less
Use a torque gage to take measurements. Or, wind a string around the periphery of the rotary block as
illustrated below and, holding the Z-slider shaft in position, measure the torque when the rotary block starts
turning with a tension gage.
When a tension gage is used: 1.96 N {200 gf) or less

Being greatly concerned with the θ-axis rotating torque, it affects θ settling time (damping characteristics).
A possible cause of the trouble includes want of silicone grease applied to the oil seal in the rotary block
assembly.
Degraded placement accuracy (variations in θ)

QA Table
Using a torque gage, measure the torque when the nozzle starts turning.
The nozzle (which has passed the inspection) must not be turned by a torque of 0.020 N.m {0.20 kgf.cm} or less.
A possible cause of the trouble is an inadequately machined nozzle holding section of the Z-slider shaft.
A remedy of the first choice is to replace the part.
Prevents the nozzle from being misaligned with respect to the Z-slider shaft when the θ-axis turns.
– Poor placement accuracy (θ deviation)
– Nozzle replacement error
– Damaged nozzle
