: Press the filter mat onto the Velcro strip.

: Repeat all the steps described above on the opposite gantry cover.

1.6.1 Replace existing 4 fans with more powerful fans

The 2 fan connectors may be arranged as required, i.e. on the left or right in the gantry area. 1

: Detach the plug-in connectors of the 4 fan cables (see Fig. above).

: Loosen the fixings for the 4 fans: each has 4 tallow-drop screws M4 (size 2.5 Allen key).

Remove the protective screens and the fans.

: Clean the protective screen with a damp cloth.

: Insert the 4 new fans (item no. 00364951-01).

: Place the previously removed protective screens on the new fans, then fix the fans and

screens in the machine using the 4 tallow-drop screws M4 (size 2.5 Allen key).

: Attach the plug-in connectors for the 4 new fans. The connectors are locked in place.

1.6.2 Fit gantry cover with trough on the machine

: Place the two gantry covers with the troughs attached on the machine, and position the covers

so that they are flush with the outer edges.

: Place a contact washer (item no. 00362571-01) on the two fixing holes in the gantry cover that

are closest to the flat screen.

: Fix the gantry cover using the 4 tallow-drop screws M4 (size 2.5 Allen key) saved from disman-

tling.

1.6.3 Insert covers of the two air filter boxes

The filter frame with filter mat should be fixed to the Velcro strips of the lid frame. The uncovered

brace of the filter frame should point downwards. 1

: Place the lid from above onto the bottom part of the air filter box.

: Switch on the machine and visually check to make sure that all 4 fans are turning.

The extraction can also be checked by briefly moving a sheet of paper on the outside in the

vicinity of the lid.

1.7 Preventive maintenance

All the maintenance jobs must only be carried out by appropriately trained personnel. Follow all

the danger instructions in the HS maintenance instructions. 1

1.7.1 Aids, tools and spare parts required

– Filter mat, mounted on filter frame (item no. 00315209-01*), 2x required *)

– Vacuum cleaner with wide nozzle

*) Replace as required at first, until the best interval can be determined from the weekly

cleaning of the filter mats.

1.7.2 Replace the filter mats in the air filter box, X times per week

The interval for replacing the two filter mats will depend on the machine utilization and the degree

of contamination identified during the weekly cleaning.

Replace the filter mat if it is damaged or it cannot be cleaned. 1

: Switch the placement machine off at the main switch.

Follow the correct shut-down routine. 1

: Secure the placement machine to prevent it being switched on without authorization during the

maintenance.

: Visually check that all 4 fans have stopped.
