Do not connect the SMEMA cables to the box yet. 2

: Unused cables or excess cable lengths may be stored inside the machine. Make sure that you
fix the cables so that they cannot be damaged when you insert the axis unit.

: Insert the axis unit into the extension kit once more and fix it in place.
: Refit all the covers that you removed.

: Plug the "cables for SMEMA“ (00334770-02) into the SMEMA box and connect the cables to
the previous or next machine, as required.

These machines should also be switched off. 2

: Switch the placement machine on again.
: Check that the interface is working correctly in SIT
EST (conveyor functions / EA functions).
