3. Setup Steps in Machine
Setup steps in machines to make the compatibility of 311A/311F nozzle are as following.
Please do the work in all the object machines to need corresponding.
1. Software Version Up
(Update the information of Mount Nozzle Specification and Side View Camera Spec)
2. Confirmation of Settings
3. System Backup
3.1. Software Version Up
The function to make the compatibility of 311A/311F nozzle is supported from the following
software versions, so please do software version up when the software that is older than the
following versions is installed. The machines which are enable to use the 31x nozzle group is
shown in Table3.1 .
When the following version has been already installed, it is unnecessary to do the work
mentioned on this document.

When the following screen is displayed in the version up process, please continue the work
with the check mark on “Nozzle Spec Info.”.
As a result, the necessary following informations are reflected in the machine setting to
make the compatibility of 311A/311F nozzle.
[Setting] – [Specification Information] – [Mount Nozzle Specification]
[Setting] – [Specification Information] – [Side View Camera Spec]
* The information set for the special nozzle is not lost, because the information of
Type-31A to Type-31Z for the special nozzle is not overwritten,
* When the information of Type-311 to Type-319 for the standard nozzle have beenn
changed from the initial settings, please make a note of the changed settings, and after
version up is completed, edit it by the machine setting.

3.2. Confirmation of Settings
Power on the machine, and confirm the following settings in machine setting (VmSpec).
1. [Setting] – [Specification Information] – [Mount Nozzle Specification] – [Nozzle Data]
Please confirm the setting of “Nozzle diameter (mm)” for TYPE-311 is “0.8”.
2. [Setting] – [Specification Information] – [Side View Camera Spec] – [Nozzle Basic Setting]
It is not necessary to confirm the setting in the case of the machine that does not equip the
side view camera, the setting item is not displayed.
When “A Nozzle” is selected for Head Type, please confirm the setting of “nozzle tip
width(um)” for TYPE-311 is “730” (which is the size of the new nozzle).
