A standard D1 machine is converted into a D1 single head (with C&P placement head).) 2
The second placement head on the gantry is dismounted with
its nozzle changer and stationary
cameras and deactivated at SIPLACE Pro and SITEST. In detail the work is described above in
chapter "Mounting". 2

2.8 Installing the Collect&Place placement head
2.8.1 Configuring the C&P head using the machine configuration wizard
: Start SITEST and select "Settings—Machine Configuration".
: Enter in the machine configuration the new placement head, cameras (standard camera type
28 / optional FC camera type 29) and nozzle changer.
Save the result!
: Shut down the station computer and switch off the placement machine.

2.8.2 Configuring the C&P head with SIPLACE Pro
: Go to 'Setup editor' —'Location'—'head tab' and enter the C&P placement head.

: To fit the nozzle changer, please read the Assembly instructions for the nozzle changer C+P-

For a D1S for a location without placement head, "none" must be entered for head type and noz-
zle changer. 2
2Risk of a head crash: Always run the placement heads with the appropriate nozzle changer.
The wrong nozzle changer causes a risk of a head crash. 2
