1.5 Cleaning the Prism Surfaces (Every Week)
Point
Oil or dirt on the surfaces of the prisms can lead to problems such as reduced light
strength and distortion of the image. This may affect the placing accuracy.
Procedure
WARNING
Always be sure to cut off the 200 V power before carrying out any
work.
Wipe the prism surfaces clean with clean gauze once a week.

1.7 Changing the Nozzle Filter (Every 3 Months)
Point
The filter inside of the shaft-axis becomes dirty with use, and as a general rule should be
replaced with a new one every three months.
Procedure
WARNING
Always be sure to cut off the 200 V power before carrying out any
work.
1. Remove the nozzle holder. (Refer to Chapter 6, 1. Placing Heads.)
2. Take out the filter with a pair of tweezers.
