1.7 Changing the Nozzle Filter (Every 3 Months)
Point
The filter inside of the shaft-axis becomes dirty with use, and as a general rule should be
replaced with a new one every three months.
Procedure
WARNING
Always be sure to cut off the 200 V power before carrying out any
work.
1. Remove the nozzle holder. (Refer to Chapter 6, 1. Placing Heads.)
2. Take out the filter with a pair of tweezers.

1.8 Changing Index Unit Oil (Every Year)
Point
The index unit inside the cam box uses a lubrication oil. This lubrication oil is loaded in
the oil tank that is located on the left side of the machine.
Change this oil once every year.
Lubrication oil: Bonnok M150 Nippon Oil Company
Oil amount: 15 litres
Procedure
WARNING
Always be sure to cut off the main power before carrying out any work.
Before starting, prepare a container to receive the oil.
1. Remove the cover from around the oil tank.
2. Loosen the 2 drain plugs and drain the oil. Be careful not to spill the oil from the
container.
3. Tighten the 2 plugs then remove the cap from the top of the tank.
Slowly pour in the new oil (Bonnok M150).
4. Add sufficient oil to return it to its initial level. The oil gage is between the oil tank
and the cam box.

1.9 Control Box Air Filter Cleaning (Every Month)
Point
If the air filter is clogged the effectiveness of the cooling fan will be reduced, and the
temperature in the control box will rise. If the machine is operated in this condition there
is a danger that the servo amplifiers and VME board will not function correctly.
In order to prevent clogging, clean off dust and dirt every month.
